Brake problems

Have had my car at the shop for 2 weeks now finally said enough is enough and took it home. Went in for a gas line leak then ending up having a brake line bust while it was there now mechanic cannot fix it. Fixed the brake line. He said while backing the car out it busted. The emergency brake light was on but now actually compressed when it busted. Bled the lines over and over again and said it was done correctly. Then still had soft brakes. He changed the master cylinder and bled again but still double pump brakes. He then order a abs pump. That's been replaced and still double pump to get brakes. It's turned out he can not diagnosis and keeps guessing so we're asking for help now. If anyone has any ideas please help.
thank you

Could be air in the ABS system. An ABS activated stop needs to be done to purge the air from this side of the brake system. To do this, drive down a dirt/gravel road and do a couple full stops with maximum braking from 45mph. Enough to make the tires skid and activate the ABS. Once this is done re-bleed the system.

I agree with both a new mechanic and more bleeding. An iffy mechanic is like an iffy surgeon, no thanks.

He is not a new mechanic. Works on mostly high end imports like mercedes.

We have re bled the brakes and looks like the master cylinder does not go up in pressure in the reservoir.
