Brake pad recommendation

Wassup guyz,

so it looks like my dad is finally warming up to the idea of racing the car on a track...you know what that means!!! It's modding time!!!

Anyways, I had my eye on a set of iRotors. They are 259 USD for a set of 4 rotors (front/back) and they come pre-zinc plated to prevent rust. Anyhow, they are a pretty decent rotor IMO, and many have said they are pleased with the results. Now for a pad. I was told that the EBC greenstuff pads were good, but after searching on this forum, it seems that some ppl said they had a lot of problems with the greenstuff pads.

Keep in mind that I will be taking this car to the track, and I don't mind having two sets of pads (one for performance street driving, and one for track racing). I wanted to go for the greenstuff pads, then swap to the red stuff pads before racing, but I'm reading too many negative things about the greenstuff pads...

what other pads would you guys recommend using in conjunction with the iRotors?

thanks guyz.

problems with the green stuff?? there the best pad out there for the common driver (occasional track use too) they are the lowest brake dust pads also. i know many people (including my self) who have gotten rid of the axis pads in favor of the green stuff. the green stff pads also have a better pedal feel

I have Hawk HPS street pads and have no complaints, I haven't tried the greenstuff pads so I dont know how they compare though. Mine do seem to generate a lot of dust but I've also been lazy in washing my car so I don't know if it's more than usual.
