brake fluid replacement
I suppose I should replace my old brake fluid, I bough the car with 58k and now it has 133k, and I've never done it. Would you guys recommend this as a DIY, or just take it to the shop? The reason is that I bled the brakes on one of my cars when I was younger with bad results. I followed the instructions making sure to not let air back into the system and using a 1 man brake bleeder kit, but my peddle pressure just never felt the same again (more pedal travel). I am fairly mechanically inclined and have done smaller jobs like spark plugs, throttle body, brakes, oil, etc. I would much rather pay somebody than to ruin my brake pedal feel, though. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

its easy, u dont need a vacuum bleeder, get ur wife or girlfriend involved, and just do one wheel at a time..did it on sunday with brakes overhaul on the front/rear and did the flush for the hell of it...
really dark crud, and u can see very fine metal shavings...and now pedal pressure feels better/stiffer, where as be4 it felt soft.

Careful...
I read on here that you should use a different rotation or order on these cars in which wheel you bleed first, second, third, & fourth.
IIRC, it was left front, then right front, right rear, & left rear.
That may not be correct, so do a search, or wait until somebody confirms or posts a DIY on it.
