Brake Dust Problems....

Any recommendations for a good brake cleaner?

Also, is this something I'll have to live with for the life of the pads or can I do something to prevent the brake dust.

I currently have Axis Metal Brake Pads w/Rotora Slotted rotors

all you can do is just wash to keep your wheels clean. your going to have to live with the dust for the life of the pad cause axxis are the WORS for dust. Meguiars has a great wheel cleaner that does wonders on removing brake dust

yep, agreed. Axxis do suck, Im running Hawk HPS, and a little less dust than EBC....but anything but stock will be dusty.

Kris. Is that meguiars safe for all finishes?

Right now I using Akebono Ceremics in the front and I am getting less dust than the stock pads. Overall the brakes are an improvement over stock but doesn't give as much bite as Axxis, Greenstuff or HPS pads.

well i guess i'll just continue keeping them clean to minimize the brake dust appearance and frequent squeaks but i doubt i'll go with axxis again when its time to replace, although stopping power is remarkable.
