Brake and Coolent fluid change

Just wondering if and when should one get these fluids replaced. Do they wear out and loose their abilities to work well?

Thx

You should change brake fluid out every year, or two at most.

It attracts water over time through the rubber lines/fluid container and if ignored will damage the abs module, master cylinder, etc...

Too much water absorbed into the system will cause the fluid to boil and the pedal will fall to the floor when you need it most.

Coolant should be changed following your manual. First time 100K ever 30-50K afterwards?

Make sure you only use distilled water to flush the cooling system and fill with honda coolant, as tap water will damage the internals over time.

Steps to follow to flush brake system?

Can anyone please provide me the procedure to follow to flush the brake system. Thanks so much. I have a 2000 TL and it now has 45K miles on it, according to the manuals, it's time to get brake fluid replaced.

THanks

You need to bleed it out like any other system, from all 4 calipers. It's not hard just very time consuming and can be very frustrating.
