Boxter

it was dark, so I don't know if it was regular or S

He was ahead of me, falling asleep at the wheel. Took the same exit as me (still ahead of me), much slower than I am used to.

The exit ramp comes to a T-intersection with a light. We both need to go right. If we miss the light, the perpendicular traffic will make us wait. And the Boxter dude is still driving like a lame duck.

We missed the light but still had a couple of seconds to yield and merge.

All of a sudden he guns it. So do I and he can't shake me off. I went into left lane and around him and he fell back.

I am still not sure if he suddenly woke up and tried to race me or the opposite - fell asleep and his head hit the accelerator pedal.

Well, my dad had a Boxster until two months ago and my TL-S-modded, was a bit quicker...Two months ago he traded it for a 911 Turbo and my mother got a Boxster-S--a 2002...The S is quicker than my modded car from a stop and at speed-noticably so..Either of the Boxsters corner like nobody's business as well...
.I seriously doubt it was an S or manual...

Now the Turbo is the fastest freakin' beast I have ever driven in my life...It is absolutely scary how fast it is and how fast it'll take a corner. Scarrrry!

I don't even bother looking to kill (be killed) by a (any) Porsche...

I took a manual boxster (not S)from a rolling start before. It had HID's so I guess it was a new model. I was winning by 2 car lengths. Unfortunately, at about 110 he crept back and took me around a slow curve. My TL-S is modded.

The boxters are okay...comes down to driver...228hp and the S is about 258hp so you might not want to mess with the S so much. But if you see a porsche that has some air ducts on the bottom of the rear bumper...most likely you might want to stay away...
