Well , i took the leep and couldn't resist anymore and went ahead and ordered the obx ss headers, but my question is to the people that have the obx headers or extensive knowledge on them, how difficult is the install on these, and if you had to pay someone to do it (dealer, or shop) how much would you pay max?

My friend and I did the install our selves in about 2hrs. If you are familiar with working on cars then I would say do it your self, but other wise I would take it to a speed shop and not the dealer. As for cost of the install I don't know call arround. Where is Farm Hills, MI anyways...is it near a major city? Grand Rapids maybe?

well i called the dealer and they want 328 to install the header, i got the dand thing for 398 geez, i am also calling speed shops .
farmington hills is central located about 20-30 minutes to Detroit, Pontiac, Ann Arbor

i just got off the phone with a local spped shop that i have dealed with before and he just quoted me at 150 now thats a lot better!!

if you have the tools and patients, you can do it yourself. A couple of the board members tried taking off the headers on an 01 type s and the bolts were practically seized.

paying more than $50 is a waste...header install is EZ. I did it myself with a friend in 1:30 mins. It isn't THAT hard.
