Bose system

Recently my friend has been telling me that his bose system in his '99 Nissan Maxima hits harder than the bose system in our 99-02 TL's. Can anyone prove him wrong?

I would agree. I have a Bose system in my 97 I30 and some of the frequences that you can "feel" are more prominent in that car. However, the lower frequencies (aka, rolling bass) is far better produced by the TL. Too bad there is no way to combine the excellent frequency response from both systems into one speaker that can handle it all well. BTW, the bose system in the '01 CL sucks.

I used to have a '98 Pathfinder LE, and the Bose system in that sounded much better than the one in my TL.

Damn I think the Bose system in my '99 sounds pretty good. They are not made to "hit" but more for full sound which I think they do a good job of. If you want a stereo that hits hard, you need to look at aftermarket and at least 1 10" or more with good power running it.
