bodykit info b4 i get it...

alrite ive saved enough $$ to get OEM front n sides with WW rear...my biggest concern is how much clearance would i have afterwards...i have a 01' TL-P riding on H&R Sports Springs n stock rims...ive searched for a suitable parking lot at my skool with low speed bumps n ive actually found 1 without them...so im totally stoked bout that...but the appartments that i live at have speed bumps too...from the gate to my garage theres only 1...n theres like a little "dip-like" gutter kissing the front of my garage...sorta like an inverted speed bump if u will...so i just wana double check on the clearance...thx to those thatll answer kuz i wana try to order it next week...

My drop is pretty low (not exactly sure of the height since its on coilovers) ... but rougly 1.75" all around ... I don't have any problems with speedbumps as long as I slow down and take them at a slightl angle. If I come out of my driveway real fast then I'll slightly graze the front lip so I think you'd be fine as long as you take it easy.

My biggest enemy so far has been scraping the front lip on curbs while parking. With the front lip and the drop, my car is lower than normal curbs so if you pull up too far forward you can scrape the lip ... and when you're pulling into a corner space if you angle it just a little too close to the curb you can scrape it there.

But its pretty much inevitable that you'll scrape the front lip ... the OEM lip is polyurethane so its meant to bend and scrape but not crack. The scrapes aren't visible ... so if you do scrape a little bit, I wouldn't worry too much.

whew...i feel relieved now...its just that i know there r certain speed bumps that ill scrape on if i had a bodykit...theres 1 in the skool parking lot where its 1inch b4 scrapping my front bumper...n the 1 in my apt parking lot is like 2inches b4 it scrapes...yea...im very very anal bout my car when i park...some of the curbs around here r pretty high even for my drop w/o the kit...so i usually just end up parking like 1/2-1ft away...lol...but thx for the info tho...i really wana get my bodykit now...its gona b sick with the WW rear...

Well, from what I was told the lowest point on your car isn't your front lip, its your exhaust pipes ... So if you're going straight over and you don't scrape the exhaust on the speed bump you should be able to go over the speed bump with the front lip and not scrape it.

cant u screw little strips of metal to prevent your bodykit from scratching and just screw it on there. I know someone that did that, and it serves its purpose and doesn't show from under the bodykit. This way the metal scratches and your body kit doesn get fuckd up

I have the OEM rear and Comptech axlebacks and they fit just fine. No idea on the WW kit and the Magnaflows ... gonna have to see if anyone else has it or just try it and if its a problem you can go out and buy new hangers.
