Ok my friend has a 98' z3 and he is going to race me and my brother. I am sure i will lose, but i am not sure about my bro. He has got a 98' base camaro with the sports package. His mods include i/h/e, shift kit, and nos (50-75-100 shot). Ok well the thing is that we dont know what the z3 has got. We are pretty sure it has i/h/e also and possibly a 50 shot of nos. WHo should be the winner. Keep in mind the camaro is auto and the z3 is stick...the driver of the z3 is good at stick so dont count that. Also are there any good BMW sites with useful info about the z3. Thanks a bunch.

 

I rented a Z3 "M" Roadster while was in Vegas and all I can say is WOW .. It was quite fun and plenty of power.... I don't know if I can say the same about the base Z3's, but in the end, especially in 5 speed, it all boils down to the driver..

Well, what engine does the Z3 got? The Z3 can't win your brother without NOS. On the other hand if they both don't or do have NOS, then I think it will be pretty close.

But that's at the dragstrip of course. Go to a road coruse track, and you will know... Well, again it still depends on teh driver.....

 

i dont think the camereo can handle as well as the Z3. is the Z3 a 3.0 L? if it is then i would go for the Z3. the Z3 is lighter with a V6 and can handle. just think MR2 beat us easily.

The z3 is a 2.8 liter. If the z3 does have nos it wouldn't be more than a 50 shot. My bro has can use a 100 shot, but he has never used nos yet. He is thinking of just using the 75 shot. I am looking very forward to the results of this race. Not only is it for $200 but it is also for pride.
