Is it possible to tint our side mirrors like in the TL-S?

Anything is possible, but as far as being legal who knows? The benz i used to have had it also. It was a bit greenish though. Keeps you from getting blinded from all those freakin SUV's.

Hey, well if the TL-S has'em, they've gotta be legal. As far as doing it, has anybody done it? I'm sure it's a different mirror b/c the tint wouldn't work outside.

Actually in Japan they have the OEM Inspire blue mirrors for the side mirrors, but of course they always have the nice stuff in japan..

 

You might be able to just buy the mirror for a TL-S. Just the glass piece not the whole thing.

Since the new mirrors are a different shape, can we really get them to fit?

I think it is called Dichonic mirror tint or something like that. Bluish in day and just dims light at night. Love how it looks. WANT IT!

 

Is this another thing that we can import from japan, since the inspire has it?

There is another alternative to get blue-tinted mirrors


I didn't know the TL-S came with blue mirrors. Does anyone have a pic of it?

Those are M3 style mirrors.

 

The blue tinted side view mirrors are on the 2002 TL also!
