Blue Side Mirrors?

Anyone have it for their car? I notice that VW, benz, etc are making it standard. Is it the class itself thats blue or its a tint? Are we allowed to tint it blue? It actually feels better for the eyes.

The glass itself is tinted blue from the factory.

The 2002's come standard with the blue tint on the side mirrors.....

In Japan you can get purple and Yellow. Does anyone know if there is any way to treat the mirrors to tint them like sunglasses or the bluish tint newer cars have?

you can tint them but the tint would bubble after a little while with the side mirror defrost,....at the on my 3.2 first gen
