Hey guys. So I have a 2002 Acura TL and one of the ignition coils recently blew out. Typically this should be an easy fix, but I'm having significant difficulties trying to remove the old one. It seems that the casing it fits down into has also come up with it. How should I approach this from here on out? I'll post pics too
It's the #1 coil I believe, notice how the whole sleeve has popped out as well.
Grab it with some pliers and pull... your coil just ripped in two. You can't possibly damage anything down there worse than a spark plug so use all the strength you need.
