blacking out taillights
I just bought a set of the rockblocker taillight tint and i was wondering if anyone had any tips or anything on how to put it on so i dont screw it up.

i just put my set on. just take your time and wear gloves. if you see bubbles appearing, lift up the tint paper and rub it over with the squeegee. its not that hard, just don't rush.

actually i did a pretty bad job. i can send some pics to you if you'd like. i have a couple of bubbles, but it's not really visable and looks real nice from 4 or more feet away. the problem is the sheet is naturally flat. the gts headlight and taillight covers that are made for other cars are molded to the contours of the lights. with the sheet being flat, it's hard to duplicate the natural curvature. i guess if you want to get a feel for what you're doing, try to put a flat piece of saran wrap on your lights first. you'll definately see what i'm talking about. all in all, it looks pretty good for what we paid for it.

Have you guys tried using spray tint to do it? Just cover the area you don't want to tint and spray light, even coats several times and it should turn out great.

pics please, i want to see some pics of tinted tails and heads if you've got them and I am assuming the adhesive on the tint will still hold strong after you soak it with water.
