I want to black out the chrome trim around the doors on the TL.... like BMW does witht he 5 series sport models. i think it would look slick, even though i have a silver car. i dont know how to do it though. someone said tape, but then i think of our rippling problem with the tape around the doors now... someone else said paint, but would that stick?

any ideas??

 

yea its black-out tape by TrimBrite made especially for blacking out chrome trim. i did it to my ABP, and it make it look more "sportier" but since i still had chrome door handles, it jus didnt match really well. plus /w the clear tails, and i have clear headlights, the chrome accentuates things nicely. i only think the black out would look good on a black car. blackin out also makes the car lose its "luxury" look. my 2 cents...

 

i would have the chrome trim and door handles painted to match the color of the car. ive been contimplating doing it myself
