Question blacked out headlight help!!!

I was hoping someone could give me a DYI for blacking out my headlights, I know there are clearing headlights DYI but I wanted to know the difference, and I wanted to know what you guys think about blacked out (they call it blacked out but really it looks smoked) headlights on my black TL-S

Also, one member told me there is someone who will do this process for a price, but he gave the name but I couldn't find it, anyone know of anyone? Or is it pretty dumb to spend 200 to get someone else to do a pretty easy process

Guys, i Know it's a lot but thank you for contributing to the best acura forum on the net

just run a search in the forums with "Blacked out headlights" and a diy will come up....

I'll put some pics of mine up right now to show you what it should look like:

Sorry for the poor quality. I let my friend borrow my digi cam for graduation. These pics were taken with my Motorola Razr cell phone.

Just a suggestion: dont paint the two side parts (turn signal bays) black. Leave it chrome like i did and just paint around the outside. It looks a little too dark with the turn signals painted in. Then again... if thats your thing.

If you're really lazy and dont want to do it... then send me a PM. I'm thinking of selling these since I'll be getting a WDP TL-S.. and I'm not sure if they'll look good or not.

The guy uses silver paint in this DIY. Just use black paint instead and follow the instructions.

BTW: wetsanding the chrome off is not necessary... but it's a good idea to prevent chipping.
