Post black TL spotted on the 10 fwy... anyone here?

Hello,

Last night at about 10pm on 10 fwy heading west, a '02/03 black TL dropped with rims and inspire badging passed by... I caught up to stay behind you until you made an exit on New Ave. It's always nice to see fixed-up TLs around

Nice car bro, hope you are surfing the forums here!

That's funny. Out of all the TL's in the world, subtledreamer sees one and remember's "guava" in the license plate...and what do you know...guavawang steps up two weeks later!

That's wild!

Sounds good... I think Guava (Tommy) would definitely appreciate this... He was just complaining about how there's hardly any meets in socal...

I know...
Actually, I know of a place who does it good, but the price is not so great... Top of the line paint job! and.... I also know of a place that maybe able to do it for 50-80 dollars, but the paint isn't all that great...
I personally don't think you'd prefer either one... but let me know if you are interested. I'll forward you the number by PM... BTW, text me of your addy.

I recently got my m5 lip spoiler painted (it came naked from ebay) at a shop my friend's buddy works at for just $35. He got his OEM front lip repainted for about $150, if I remember correctly. The quality is pretty good for the price... only thing is that the guy isn't too good with english (we speak cantonese ) so it might slightly problematic if I just give you his number.

Hmm, perhaps I'll talk to you about this tomorrow at the meet? Remind me in case I forget bro haha. btw the meet is at 2 pm!

Nice meeting you!
hope you reached the guy alright.

the gauges don't make any noises when it's on. i had them up before moahdriven actually and wrote a DIY for it (http://files.subtledream.com/TL/reve...low_gauges.htm). they can be a bitch to install because the gauge faces curve slightly upward... i retaped mine 4, 5 times along with the white glue to get the sucker down for good. stupid fuel needle kept on getting stuck @ the 1/4 tank mark!

but if you take your time and be very careful the first time along, should be alright. gotta say though, they look great at night

yea u helped me out alot with that DIY. i remember pm'ing u like 5 times with questions. was really great meeting u guys.

and tommy, the gauges only make a slight hum if u put the brightness all the way and listen closely...but even so, im sure u wont want gauges at full brightness cuz it can get reallllly bright. i keep mine at about 75% bright.

no prob man. glad to help a brother out.

and the noise... guess he's right. but it's not something you would notice unless you really stick your ears next to the gauges. engine/road noise covers pretty much covers it up at any given time.

guava: do show us pics when you get the goodies on!
