You can't go wrong w/either one. Black is harder to maintain, but it looks great when it's clean. Silver is very easy to maintain, but you will never get the shine you would get w/a black paint.
I got the satin silver and I don't have any regrets.

28% of all cars are silver. the #1 color
24% of all cars are black. the #2 color
Looks like you and every one else Polled in USAToday shared the same taste (#1 & #2). Can't go wrong with either. Mine's black

BLACK!!
Black looks sweet as **** when its clean. You will have to get chrome rims if you decide to get aftermarket rims...not that that is a bad thing.
Silver is easy to maintain. Like most say it looks good when its clean and it still looks aiight when its dirty. but its not the same as black. Black is glossy...shiny...awesome!

I am going to buy a silver TL-s. I used to drive a light plum color (Almost silver) Saturn back in '95 and the paint looked great through the 3 years I had it. I've had my dark purple '98 Accord for 3 years and I love the color for about the first week after I wash and wax it then I hate it. Shows water spots, chips, swirl marks and barely touching it scratches the hell out of it. I do get alot of looks from other people when its clean but to maintain it is to time consuming for me. Really you have to pick one that you feel you will enjoy for a long time.

Silver if you wanna avoid buffing out swirls, black if you like the shiny look. Also keep in mind that black has two interior color options (ebony or parchment) while silver has just one (ebony).
If I could do it again however (I bought silver), I woulda gone with the Aegean Blue Pearl, just to have something a bit different...

TypeSDragon is right nothin like a clean black car. Depends on how much time you want to put into maintaing it. I don't mind washing it 2-3 times a week, can't tell you how many comments I have had on the blue pearl in the black paint.
TypeSDragon, just got my rims this weekend. I'll post pics Tuesday, you'll have to let me know what you think.

Black is hard to maintain....you're gonna see every little scratches..but when it's cleaned...looks awsome....
I personally liked black...but I am too lazy.......
Just like the other members said...if you can take care of your car, go for black....or you're just too lazy just like me....go for Silver
For me it was a heat issue. Living in Louisiana I needed a light color paint with light interior. It's pretty hot and humid here and I'm in and out of my car several times per day. I would have bought the silver, but it only came with ebony. I ended up with Whte Diamond Pearl/Parchment.
Well that was an easy one for me. You can't get the tan interior with the silver paint. The bowling ball wood and all black interior is just too plain for me.
Black pearl paint with the tan interior is just gorgeous.
