NOT True,
Reason why I can say that is B/c I have been using Copy DVD for past 2 year an it work fine. Only thing you got to remember with burn dvd in our Navi is alway hit A/C button 1st then hit the Menu Button if you don't you will alway get error message. You will also need double layer DVD-burner to make successful copy.

But why would anyone be running on a copy?
And thats not the factory way to turn it on!

Reason why I'm using a copy DVD is b/c it's upgrade from the CD version that came with the car. The Navi that came with my TL was 2.05 version my burn copy disco is 2.11B edition(The Last or second last edition DVD-Rom they made) Sorry but not going pay $185 just for a upgrade disco. It turn on fine like OEM Disco, you will see the Acura Navi screen then Main Menu after that you have hit A/C button then Menu button, Now why i have to do it that way i dunno, but alway work when I do those 2 step after Navi screen pop up. It takes only 5 second to do so know big deal.
