Hello All.

I was wondering if anyone has the black chrome emblem kit. I heard it is not available for the 2002 TL. I have a black TLS and was going to replace the standard chrome emblems to the black chrome. I also want to replace all of the standard chrome to black (door trim, door handles and grill)

Any thoughts on if I can do this and where? Any pics?

I always thought the the TL-S should have had "same color trim" to differentiate it from the TL-P. I also happen to dislike chrome.

Since this is not an option, everything would have to be painted which never works well.

BTW - I had the "black" emblems on my 99TL, and they were not really black, like you might see on a VW or Maxima, but they are more like a dark metal chrome. Hard to describe without seeing it in person.

I personally like Black Chrome, but the problem with every single kit I have seen is that they are pretty much just for the emblems.
So the grills, trim around the windows, and in our cars the door handles would all still be chrome and wouldnt match that well.

Not even an option for the 2002's, the emblems are bigger.

 

You could just buy it from Tim on this site. He sells the Black Chrome Emblems....
