Post Better oil filter

I found a better oil filter for the TL. Same thread, same anti-drain back valve, same opening pressure for the bypass (8-10 psi), and same width.

How is it better?

1) It is about a 1/2 inch longer for increased filtering capacity and holds more oil
2) The gasket is silicone rubber for best sealing and freedom from sticking
3) The Microsonic media has more surface area and filters more effectively.

If anyone is interested, I can post the number.

It is made by Purolator and is there top of the line filter.

If you don't mind, could you check if it fits on the Acura Legend? Or can you check if they make bigger filters for the Legend?

I can't be confident but i'm sure it will fit on the Legend with no problem.

It is Purolator part# PL24458.

Nutz and Boltz did a filter study recently and these were top rated by the Master Mechanic who runs N&B based on test results and tear downs of the filters.

Using this filter with, say Redline, will easily allow 7500 mile oil changes with highest protection.

That's what I intend to do.
