Why is it that some of you guys get all pissed off at the mere mention of a better car out there??? It's gonna happen sooner or later. I can probably see some of you buying the new Road and Track and burning every copy of it. But believe me, I LOVE my TL, but I'll still admire the G35, Maxima, Altima V6, Audi A4, BMW anything 330 and above, etc etc etc.

 

From what I've seen. People here get mad when people from other boards who drive other cars come here and flame the TL just to flame it. Better is so subjective. Is the new G35 a tick quicker to 60 - Yep. Does is have a funky looking claustrophobic interior - Yep. Is it better? Depends on your criteria. Is the BMW 330 a better car? Not if you want to put 4 guys in the cabin and all of their golf gear in the trunk. See how idiotic it can become.

 

Perhaps some people get more offended than many others because the TLs could be their 1st real experience in a mid entry luxury car, and it just happened to be better than what ever they had driven before. Just my .02

 

i dont mind someone giving there opinion and views as long as its done with some kind of tact and factual information to back up what there saying ...but some people have one sided views and dont know what the hell there talking about.

 

There is a big difference between bashing and comparison! I don't have a problem with people giving honest opinions. It's just the trolls that come around and start $hit that pisses me off!

BTW, I still love my 99 TL like the first day I drove it off the lot.
