What have been the experiences at the different dealers in Toronto? How well did they come down on the price? I have only been to Acura of North Toronto

I just purchased my 2002 TL at Acura 2000 and found them great to deal with. I dealt with Danny. Check the search mode I think this came up about one week ago for the TO area.

I would strongly recommend checking the price against the Automobile Protection Agency's brokers price.

The APA will tell you dealer cost and provide a fair price quote for the car through a broker. At the time they quoted me Dealer Cost + $1200 or around 3.5% over dealer cost. This was $2880 less than MSRP for an '01 TL purchased last December.

APA membership is relatively cheap at around $65.00. In the end I bought the car from Acura 2000 in Brampton and not the APA dealer. They matched the APA price and were more convenient from a service factor... It may be possible to beat the APA price by a few hundred if you negotiate hard..

Acura NorthToronto, got ****ty attitude just like Downtown Acura. They forgot to put the engine oil once... so the car had to be tow back to the dealer and all that...


Sherway Acura, I head good thing about them, yet at the same time, didn't really deal with them before but they don't sound that nice over the phone. They lost a CL guy's key once, and they had some hassle.


No, I am not an AssO that is being anal and picky about everyone... It's just the sad fact that they got no good dealer in the Toronto Area... Sucks hum...

I second the recommendation to join the APA. If you only want a single quote, you can get it for $25 Cdn, the $50 membership get's you two quotes per year and a magazine. I've actually gotten like 4 quotes over 2 years with my old membership number. Shhhhh.

My bought my A4 over the phone and got Agincourt Autohaus to match the APA price. I knew exactly what I wanted and the whole thing took 15 minutes.

I was able to get the best deal for 02 model from “Sherway Acura”, but that combination included the trade in.

I forgot to say, I have heard that invoice price is about 2500 CAD less then MSRP for a basic TL 02. Does anybody know is this correct?
