Best Spot Through Firewall??

I am having a very hard time trying to figure out the best place to run my amp's power wire through the firewall. Maybe some of you DIY people can help me out. I have checked the audio and video threads but nothing that can help me. Thanks for some help.

Right above the pedals, there's a circular shaped plug. Pops it out, shine a light through it, and locate it from the engine bay. This is how I ran the wires for my EDFC.

So do you have to push a hole in the fire wall. I tried to get the wire through, but it was filled. I did not want to break anything so I ran the wire through the window controlls hole in the driver side wheel well. Should I just take a screwdriver and punch a hole though about the gas pedal?

yea stick an ice pick then keep going bigger until the wire slides through. you have to put a hole in it.

Be VERY careful of wires already there. When I punched my amp wire through the grommet above the e-brake, the screwdriver must have scraped a wire bare and it shorted. For some reason all of my fuses are fine but the turn signals no longer blink when arming/disarming the car.

The hole above the pedals is a dead hole. There's nothing going through it. But you do have the get the plug out in order to use it.

Since it connects the engine bay the cabin together, I would recommend stuffing it with some cotton balls or something once you are done putting the wires through.

Thanx all. The one above the gas pedal I think is the best. It was a lot easier than I thought. Got it all hooked up and ready to go.
