best spot to jack thecar up from?

i hate jacking the car from the tabs on the side of the car. i hate the thought of one of those breaking off and my floor caving in.

i remember some one said theres a point in front of the car where you can jack the whole front up?

If my car weren't so low, I would use a hydraulic jack under the front frame support. So, I use the oem jack and jacked it up from the side, insert the hydraulics and lift it up. You could do the same.

I don't think you're going to break off a vertical support structure welded to the frame unless there's serious deterioration from rust or damage.

There's also a jack point around the center under the engine. Good for putting it on jack stands (or cinder blocks if you're ghetto like me).

The factory lift points are designed to lift teh car They wont break off and your floor wont cave in. the only way to damage them is to lift the car wrong. I wouldnt worry about them at all. If you are using a jack with a small 1 1/2 -2 inch lift pad get rid of it and get one with a larger 4-5 inch pad. the lift point will sit inside teh cup..

Yes there is a lift point in the dead center of the car around the area of the radiator. I would only lift from there if you have a big enough lift pad on the jack.

There are took tow hooks, front and back center. You can jack the car up from these. However, you need a very tall jack for it to be usefull.

Front jack point is dead center behind the plastic underbody cover. I use the rear tow hook to jack the rear.

I think I have spent as much if not more money on tools for my car then mods. My car is also lowered. I purchased a low profile hydraulic jack at sam's club, cost me about 120 bucks. Works great!!!
