Best place to take my car if it has a problem?

I'm having some wierd sounds with my car and plan on taking it in to the shop, but I'm not sure where to go. I really don't like the local dealer around here and would like to avoid it if possible, but I'm not sure where else to bring it. Just a place that specializes in acuras? It seems like a lot of shops don't carry parts that are specific to TLs, and I'm pretty sure the import tuning place that installed my springs wouldn't be much help either.

If you provided more specific details on your problem, it would help out.

sorry, my car makes a groaning sound when I turn, it seemed like it was getting better but after not driving for a couple days I drove the car and it was louder than ever. I looked for things near the wheels that could be scraping against the tires but didn't see anything. It seems like it might possibly be worse when its cold outside, but I'm not sure yet.

I live near pasadena, CA, if anyone knows any good shops for TLs in the area.

Might be a broken sway bar.

99 TL-P, makes the sound it both drive and reverse. I tried posting on here before and got a list of possible problems (sway bars included), but can't inspect them myself. I'm worried if I bring it to some random shop around here they won't carry TL parts, a lot of them don't seem to.

Does the groaning occur while turning the wheel?

Can you tell whether it's coming from the rear or front?

It sounds like its coming from the front (at least from inside the car while driving).

Does only make the sound if you turn the wheel one way and not the other?

If it is both ways could be low on P/S fluid.

If it makes the sound turning one way or the other could be a loose fender well and the tire is rubbing.

At first it was only doing it when I turned right but now it seems to do it when I turn either way. I think Im just going to give up and go to the dealer, I don't want to leave it at some shop around here that will have to order parts.

I woudl check the power steering fluid level first. And add more if needed. Then go to the dealer.

Take it to Thomas Acura in Covina if it's still under warranty.
