The one I bought I paid the same price you did with free shipping. If you can handle the wait and your own installation get it there. I went to Pep Boys and Autozones near me and neither had the model number I needed (I think it was the 33-2133). So mine should be coming sometime next week. If you have auto stores with a huge building they may have your model number part but in my area they didn't. That price is probably the best you will be able to find also.

from the K&N site which sells for only 40 bucks with shipping..which is great...but not to canada...i am asking them for a quote now...
now i saw canadaian tire site has offer for K&N filter too...for about the same price...but it cost 7 dollars US for shipping...i haven't decided yet but i will check around first to see where has the best price...
personally i prefer from the canadian tire site coz i don't need to transfer to american...it's quite expensive these days...

Cantire doesn't charge for shipping. I think the guy is trying to rip you off. You can order it then wait like 3 days then pick it up. If you can't wait, go to Pacific mall and get one. I got mine there
