Best place to order OEM parts
Hi there, I don't usually lurk around here too much, but my mom's 2003 TL needs some OEM parts. I'd like to find out the best place with the best price to order these. I need:
- front and rear brake pads
- cabin filter
- engine air filter
- AT trans fluid
thanks!

cabin filter I like aftermarket with carbon and antibacterial stuff added to it
many choices of way better pads than stock
atf honda dw-1 honda dealers
or ck out our VENDOR list at top of pages- its got the dealers that cut us a break
also look online- there are more there,,send a case of atf for way less than list price of 7-9$ per bottle!
WARNING if high miles on trans fluid- over 75kmiles on that fluid-,
do one drain and refill and see how it goes before doing full changeout of the 7.3,,
which requires over 9 qts to get it all pushed out and be on new fluid

I've been using www.AcuraOEMParts.com. No complaints.
Except that the extra discounting didn't start until after the bulk of my purchases.
Sometimes I'll call a part number into the local Honda dealer, like the oil pressure switch I just bought. Cheaper to pay list than handling and shipping on one small part.
Trans oil, ask around at the honda/acura parts counters for a case discount.

I've bought many times from Delray without any issues. However, they add shipping plus a separate handling fee which are small, but still there. I've never seen the extra 5% Acurazine discount either. Recently, I was able to call up my local dealership and explain the price differences and they matched Delray simply by asking.
Watch out for some items that are seriously overpriced at the dealer. For example, Phillips HID bulbs are $208 each at Delray, exactly the same bulbs on Amazon are $43. Strangely, Amazon has great prices on these types of parts.
Tip - A little shopping around just before you order can save you LOTS of cash.
smarty.

The Mix motor and the Mode Motor are pretty much the Same Unit. Just Locate it, Remove it and Follow my DIY:

The local Honda dealer parts department has been giving me 25% off since I asked. That was in April, when I needed filters, ATF, and PS fluid. I went in yesterday for seatback clips, and they get put the 25% off even on that small purchase.
Now, for a particularly irksome order, like a bunch of dash bulbs, I'd order from one of our vendors.
