When i was a auto one of my favorite mods was switching the SS direction of the + -
But overall teh single best mod ANY one could perform is the 6 speed swap, the car is so much more enjoyable.

i'm gonna take a good guess and say it's a cold cathode tube. i've been meaning to install footwell lights this whole year. one really bright white ones, wired to the dome light when the doors open, and then dim white or blue lights wired to the headlights for ambiance.
edit: 03tLsNBP, you should totally do the handbrake conversion so you can get rid of that out of place e-brake

how difficult is the handbrake conversion? i was gonna do it anyways when i do my 6spd swap whenever my tranny goes, but i guess i could do it early.

the cheapest mods were the best for me:
Cusco lower bar $85--amazing how much it tightens the cars handling
mrheeltoe has a new 4 point lower mount--have to ck that out if you are hardcore street driver looking for stealth
cusco upper bar $125 helped some, but lower made more differance for average street drivers not on trick shocks,,,upper is important on certain cars and helps lowered cars
95 Legend LS-C front dual piston calipers $150 for both
Stainless Steel brake lines $100
RacingBrake front rotors and ET pads ~350
now it dramatically slows and stops like it should- over and over slow downs from 60 to 25 in the 7000 tall mountains is what I enjoy
exterior $100 for a UDM buffer, $50 for the right cleaners, polishing compunds, and final wax-- makes it look like a new car... with a mirror smooth finish,,,on an 01
best investment money for getting lots of Goodwill from the dealer:
a $10 box of donuts to service manager-- for the service writers and shop guys,
a 20 spot palmed in a handshake to the actual tech for spending 30 minutes with my nav prob,, and diagnosing the ac tensioner,, I wasnt charged anything
$7 for 2 boxes of ice cream sandwich bars `for the shop`
those were all at different occassions and worth every penny in the goodwill it generated
A customer they Like to see come in? one bearing goodies!!--what are you needing for free today sir?
a new transmission would be nice--I dont like the way this one shifts~

you'd tap it into that line. i haven't done anything like that before but i know it can be done. someone can explain it better than i can. i know the door handle LEDs DIY shows how to tap into the dome light. too tired to look it up.

Their would obviously not be a shortage of food and refreshments going around.
maybe some palming $20's after you get a little twisted
My best mod is my freshly flaked paint job

search puddle lights.
i've had a few people ask and i kno i've posted a wiring diagram somewhere...
i spliced my puddle lights to the passenger side fuse box. thats where the dome light is..
oh.. and i forgot i had puddle lights... add that to my list too..

I like how my cars sounds with the ATLP exhaust and the Injen CAI with the Fujita Filter, the filter makes an awesome noise. Also i like my 2 12" subs good for any music and you can just jam out. Lip kit is makes a BIG difference to the car as well.
