I think the thing about the ABP is that Acura makes such a great blue that is hard to pass it up. I have an ABP TL-S; I was going to buy either WDP or NBP when I was choosing the car but when I saw the ABP on the street I was absolutely sold. When I have my car parked at a meter and it is washed and detailed nicely, I have 65-year-old people telling me how beautiful that color is, and that they've never seen such a ''breathtaking'' shade of blue before.
As for whoever said you would get sick of it after a year, if you love your car enough you won't get sick of it in time. The TL has done nothing but impress me and make me happy since the day I got it, and the color never gets sick in my mind because there are always people acknowledging it. Go with whatever you want and don't let us biased individuals influence you, but next time you see an ABP parked, take a good look at it. It's truly a beautiful color; I have absolutely no idea why Acura switched to the darker blue for the '04.
