Bent downpipe

hey sup guys

I dunno how it happened but i somehow managed to bend my downpipe (OBX)

i was just wondering if it really affected my car's performance.... it seems kinda slow, but i always feel like the car's slow anyway... so im asking u guys if you think it can make a noticeable difference.

and is it possible to buy only a downpipe, or do i have to buy the whole headers kit... (that would be gay). place? price?

thanks

oh, one last thing: both headers have cracks/leaks around the welds on the middle pipe where it collects to the port, does that affect performance?

Since the pipes are mandrel bent, a bend, kink or whatever will have an affect on the performance of them.

If air leaks out of any part of the header there will be a loss of hp.. so cracks would cause a problem.

If the pipe is bent without compromising the interior diameter, then you're fine... If the pipe is pinched or wrinkled, thus decreasing the interior diameter, then you could loose power.

Did it fix the resonance??? If so, leave it! j/k

With cracks on welds - and a bent pipe it's probably more expensive to fix it. You may want to get new ones.
