wow i was a lil surprised..im not really sure what year model the trans am was but i definately beat its ass and i wasnt even in ss or gateshift..straight up automatic...i wasnt sure i could get but hell yeah i did..haha

those "muscle cars" from the 80's are slow stock... come on, look at a stock 5.0 Mustang, 80's camaro, even the LT1's... or last gen Mustang GT 4.6L or even the 5.0 in 95... all slow stock... but hey, good one :-)

Those were all dogs. I used to kill Mustang GT's and IROC Z's with my 96 Maxima SE 5 speed.

 

The 1999 and up 4.6L Mustang GTs will walk all over a TL-S no problem. Trust me I had one, and was running low 14s with my crappy driving skills (can't launch for crap) with only an X-Pipe and mass air meter for performance mods (plus it was a convertible). Now if I could only afford new tires and a supercharger I'd be rocking in the TL-S A-spec.
