yo, theres this kid i absolutely hate. hes sum 18 yr old actor who lives in New Ro with a Grand Prix. he did all this gay **** to his car like put electric tape over his corners... god, i cant stand this kid. and hes always racing past me but ive never gotten a chance to race him. i dont know if he has a GT or GTP. ive looked into his car and he has an automatic. so i was wondering if the GTP comes in automatic? bc if not, then i my stock TLP cud def take a measly Grand Prix GT.

there's only one way to find out the difference between a GT or a GTP is on the driver or passenger side door...

 

Sorry to say man, but a stock TL-P is not beating a GTP. Those cars are fast stock and small mods make them way faster. Also where in Westchester are you from, i'm from Yonkers. Hit me up with an email, maybe we can get up. Nito69@aol.com

 

Pontiac makes two really quick machines, the first being the V8 Firebird (which comes in several potencies--don't bother them--they will show their tail lights before you can say "naturally aspirated".) The other is the venerable 3.8, which has been honed and tweaked into the supercharged 6 you find in the GTP.
Stock, it makes 240 horses and 280 ft/lbs of torque, which will pretty much guarantee a quick launch. With some minor mods those GTPs will produce more than 300 horses and gobs of torque.
We Acura owners must remember that while our machines are quick, they are not SUPER fast cars, just well-made personal transportation machines that are reliable, well-built automobiles that will maintain their value far better than the Grand Prix will. This is not to diss the Pontiac owners (I almost bought one--love that supercharger!) but I prefer a vehicle that is just as quick WITHOUT one. I am not sorry I made my choice, especially when I hear my S's exhaust note around 5 and 6 grand...
