Bay area Auto show
Did anyone went to the auto show today?
For $7.00 I got a chance to sit in the new M5 and CLK 55.
The M5 is so nice. I have some back problems, the M5's seat are perfectly contoured for my body. I just do not want to leave the car.
Asked the BMW rep at the show on the possibility of 6 speed sequential automatic for the new M5. He told me that M5 will not be getting the sequential automatic any time soon.
However, he told me that in 2002 the new M3 will be available with the sequential 6 speed in both 2 door coupe, convertible, and '03 4 door.
I guess its time for me to begin saving for the '03 4 door M3.
P.S. You can also find a red CLK 55 on display at auto show. The seats are not as firm as those on the M5. Overall, the M5 appears to be a better bargin than CLK 55.

Did anyone else go? Any pix of interesting cars?? Did they have any modd'ed cars? They sometimes do.

Went twice this week to the SF International Auto SHow. Its still considered a secondary show. No really fun cars to check out that we all have not seen in the mags. I think the car I liked best is still an Acura though, the MDX. Nothing in the smae class as the TL/CL's though. Regarding the M3, why would anyone want a sequential shift if a manual is available? Am I opening a bag of worms? If the TL were available in a manual, I'd sell mine in a heartbeat and get anew one with the manual.

Hell yeah. That was one of the first things I complained to the salesperson when I was buying the car. I told him to lower the selling price cuz it didn't come in stickshift! I wanted stick but sportsshift is the next best thing, I guess. It's a bit sedated though... but it's good for the LA traffic, trust me.

Went to the carshow - kinda disappointed that Acura didn't have there cars all fixed up w/ stock kits & wheels at the least... Got in the IS300 - will leave it at that / happy & proud to own a TL... Did you guys see the fixed up Navigator w/ 22 inch rims - that ride was tight & the LS, props to Lincoln for bringing it. Highlight of the night CL600, I'll take on of those & go ahead & throw in one of those Denali's, if not the Tahoe will do...
