Batmobile Out of Commission
yup yup, my tranny failed at about 1:30am saturday night. i had it towed to the dealership on sunday and he said that its definately gone, and also i broke a motor mount. he said the tranny is covered, but the motormount parts + labor is like 160. yeah sucks not havin' the TL for the next week n a half.

bummer man. they said my motor mount was bad, but i didnt replace it yet.

they dont seem to last long i already had one replaced on one of my last tranny replacements, and alot of members have had their mount replaced when they have there trannies replaced

yeah i think im gonna go ahead and get it replaced. Im going today w/my dad to get a loaner because im not old enough. they said it would take a week or so, hopefully i can get 3rd Gen TL loaner or a TSX im not complaining

i get my car back on thrusday from my tranny going out its been a week already ! i could of got a loaner but the warantee is on previous owners name it wouldnt work out

my parents should be picking up a loaner tomorrow, i wonder hopefully itll be an Acura instead of an Enterprise car. I'm not sure which motor mount went out, but one did break.
also, how hard is it to do a brake-fluid flush and a coolant flush etc et, basically what im asking, is that can i do a 60k mile service by myself?

LOL omg dude when we got a TL loaner, i swapped my shift knob (it was a brand new 03) and my side panel on the interior cuz mine was scratched. and to think i was gonna go pay for a new panel at the dealer
