I have driven my '03 TLS 10,000 miles and the other day i hear this squeaking coming from the front driver side tire. Everytime going over a bump or turning or basically driving squeak squeak squeak. Call the dealer and they are like, "oh its probably your ball joint needs to be regreased or replaced." Isnt this a little weird to happen to a car with 10,000 miles and pruchased in Sept 03? Anyone else have this problem?

 

Yup ... I did... I has 50,000kms and they replaced my lower ball joints... At the same time I got them to put Comptech Springs.

Now at 80,000kms ... and they are squeeking AGAIN... I don't think I'll be lucky this time.

 

I recently had both lower front ball joints replaced. I didn't hear squeaking, but felt a shudder in the wheel.

I prefer the old days when we could pump a dab of grease in them instead of having to wait and worry for them to fail.

That was at 35k miles.

 

just had an inner tie rod replaced due to some play in the wheel.
tonight i noticed that my tie rod end boot is busted. what does this mean? has this part gone bad?
