Question balance

Ive already posted in the wheel topic without any success, so Ill be quick. Ive had my chrome wheels 17x7.5 balanced twice by the dealer I bought them from. Im having problems getting them balanced right tried the regular stickons and also had them balanced like the stock. Has anyone tried the regular method of balancing on the lip and the backside. I know it looks tacky on a chrome wheel but im getting vibration at 60 80 and 90 mph I tested it out. Any suggestions on what to do? Any new balancing processes to look for?

my brother had the exact same problem... he bought a set of 19-inch rims and he went to 3-4 different places trying to balance the tire with no success.

what he eventually did was found a shop that has this particular type of machine. its different than the normal balancing machine... it has something to do with the fact that not all rims are perfectly circular... and something about rotating the mounting position of the tire to the rim...

maybe you can do a search on a post about rims & shaking and/or balancing.. maybe you'll find it... if i talk to him soon I'll reply again.. good luck

Find a shop with a Hunter GSP7900.

http://www.hunter.com

Could also be a bent rim, bad tire/tires
