Angry Bad Vibrations..

I have a 2000 TL with a little over 12,000 miles on the odometer. I bought it new in May, and I have had a dash vibration from almost day one. I have repeatedly taken it back to dealer. They even went so far as to remove the dash. They always call me up and say it's fixed, and as soon as I drive away it starts again. It is almost a "buzzing" sound from the front drivers side. Any ideas out there? Has anybody else experienced this problem?

the best thing to do is to have the service rep in the car while it is making the noise. The only way you will get it fixed is if you can correctly replicate the sound, have the service rep find out what is causing the vibration, and fix it. If the service department is just removing the panel and tightening it chances are its not being fixed. Don't settle for the standard response from your service department "could not replicate problem". Make sure they tell you what the problem was and how they fixed it. Hope this helps and good luck.

Yeah that's a good idea to have the service guy in the car when it starts shaking because then it may be easier for them to replicate the problem on their own...But i know how it goes when it only happens when you are in the car and no one else can hear it so they think you're crazy when you bring it up...
