What are the signs of a bad transmission mount?

 

you probably wont feel it. Look at them. They are easy to see in the drivers side wheel well. Look for tears. They are small and shoulnt wear out soon. Mine had 210k on them and were in great shape when i performed the swap

 

mine looks ok, but it feels soft

 

check the front and rear engine mounts from below- looking up for signs of oily substance

do the -have a friend gas/brake method and watch for engine motion

 

The trans mounts mostly do the support of the trans. There isnt a ton of movement out of them
