Bad New Years

Today is the beginning of Chinese new Years and guess what happens. I park in the school parking garage and some AS* hits my car trying to get into a spot next to me!! Scrapes the whole right rear bumper through all the paint and scrapes away at the plastic. He leaves me a number and then has the nerve to only offer me $100. I told him to come with me to get an estimate so he can make sure I dont rip him off on the repair. But I should rip him off since he obviously shouldn't be driving if he hits a parked car, wastes my time, and damages my vehicle. I am so pissed. It looks so bad and it hurts just looking. What a great way to start Chinese New Years.

I know that sucks dude... but atleast he had the decency to leave you his contact info. Most dirt bags won't. What school do u go to? Honestly I wish somethign like that happened to me here..since I need to get my rear bumper re painted...and it would be great if I didn't have to pay for it. I know thas sinical thinking.

WOW, there's people that actually leave their number now a days? Too bad there isn't too many nice people around. Get him to fix the damage and let him go, you don't want to start out the new year off wrong by ripping someone off.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

That's a real shame about your car, but I have to give kudos for the guy leaving his number - you should be starting your year off with renewed faith in mankind.

I got to Temple University in Philadelphia. After a day of thinking about it, I've had time to calm down. I met him today and he says he is willing to pay for it, but he explains that he doesn't have much money being a full time student and all. I completely understand but he is still going to pay. We are trying to keep insurance out of it. And yes, I am happy that he left his number and did not hit and run like an assh*le. Hopefully, everything will be fixed as soon as possible. Maybe its a blessing in disguise because I really needed the rear bumper re-painted. Stupid 2 foots curbs. LOL.
