Bad Dealership

Bad Dealership
I recently went to test drive an Acura TL at Walker Acura in New Orleans, LA and was completely unimpressed by the salesperson that "helped" me. He managed to curse 3 times in front of my girlfriend and made one comment that was just plain vulgar. I don't mean to be uptight, however I had recently visited Volvo and Lexus and they managed to get through the entire test drive without cursing or embarassing themselves. If Acura wants to have the image of a luxury car, they should really try to present themselves better.
Anyway, I really like the TL (regardless of this moron) and would like to buy in the next week - if any of you know of dealerships within 120mi of New Orleans that are fair and professional I would gladly consider taking my business to them.
Thanks,
Mark

I am sorry to hear about your dealer experience. If you have the salesman's name you might call Acura customer service and complain. They take that kind of feedback seriously.
As far as a dealer search goes, have you tried looking on Acura.com? Here is the link:

he told me he was not bull***ting me, and that he was not full of bull***t. he then told me that he was not going to "whore these cars out at $500 above invoice". while the latter may be true, he seemed full of the first!

I Got Great Service Here...
MKURT...I live just south of Memphis. I went to all of the dealerships around here and the same one in New Orleans. I am from Biloxi. Anyway, I bought a 2001 CL Type S last month from Northpark Acura in Jackson,MS of all places. They take care of you BIG time. My fiance had to bring it in for a few small things and they have given her a new Protege to drive every time. They are all about customer service. If you wish to know more just email me and I can recommend the guy to talk to....darkstar@galaxyispc.com

Dude,
Maybe you were being filmed for a skit for SpyTV or MTV's Jackass! LOL!
Did the salesguy suddenly take off his clothing and dance around in a thong like Jackass' Party-Boy? LOL! Now that's pure comedy. :p
If not...and it was a real salesman...I'd definitely try another dealer or auto-broker. If you're gonna spend around $32K for something, the LEAST the salesperson could be is nice to you.

As a funny followup - I did contact the guy in Biloxi, very helpful and very professional. When I told him the problem I was having with Walker he said that he has serveral customers from New Orleans all for various reasons - rudeness being one of them.
Anyway through the course of the conversation he mentioned that when he sells cars to the New Orleans area he doesn't put on the dealership emblem because Walker has a history of making those cars wait for servicing.
My current car is a Grand Cherokee from a dealership that has horrible service and I know how frustrating it can be dealing with them, so I think I am going look at comprable cars. Maybe I am being gun shy about nothing, but I would really like to have a pleasent experience with my new car.
I probably would of bought a car from Party Boy - most likely on the spot for MSRP + undercoating.
