are the back up camera's really worth it??? i had a complete carputer setup i was gonna do with a camera and back up sensors but that all went to shit along with my tranny...

I find it to be worth it, it actually saved me from running over a few kids in my old apartment, the little fuckers just run all over the place.

It works if you make it work. It all depends on how much you can purchase one for and get it installed (or DIY). It definitely helps to have it when you need it, and I ended up getting mine for free, so it was definitely worth it.

Yea, it folds in and there are a lot that do. Check the signature for my exact model...

question here for thos with the cameras do you guys ever worry about it when your washing your car? or is it waterproof?

Most of the cameras we are using are approved for outdoors and won't mess up. Just make sure all the wiring is inside the trunk or out of the way where water can get on it.
