Is the B-pipe on a TL a different size than the TypeS
I thought it was, and the fact that Comptech sells the b-pipe only for the TypeS confirms that, just wanted to be sure.
More importantly, anyone think of a reason why the b-pipe from an 03 TypeS would not fit on a 99 TL? Thinking it might add a little more power since it's supposedly freer flowing.

TLS piping diameter is 2.25 inches...whereas the TLP is 2.0 I beleive.

I have spoken to Comptech about this before, when the B-pipe first came out, and they stated that the position of the cat converter is diffrent in the older model TL's (99 - 02).
Has anyone here upgraded their 99 - 02 with the comptech B-Pipe, against stock mufflers?
