Axxis MetalMaster Break Pads HELP ASAP!!!

Was looking at a DIY for these pads and saw that some clipping of some metal clip needed to be done so the stock heat shield would fit correctly. Is this what folks with these pads are doing to install them correctly? I am getting them installed today by my mechanic (front & rear) and just wanted to let him know that there may be a slight modification. Thanks....

No problem here. There is a small tab on the Axxis metal master pads that need to be grinded with a bench grinder. I suppose these pads fit other applications that require the tabs. I ground them off myself in about 2 seconds with a grinder. they are about 1 milimeter in diameter and stik up about 1 millimeter. You will see which ones are in the way when you attempt to use the shields. Any mechanic can handle in a flash. Enjoy you're new brakes!!!

Well folks I got my Irotors and Axxis pads installed today (from the groupbuy). I think I may have wound up with warped front rotors right out of the box, my steering vibrates at about 40-50mph. My mechanic said to give it a few days, and if it persists bring the car back in and put the OEM's back on and send back the front rotors for replacements (this is exactly what I was trying to avoid as noted in my previous posts in this thread). Could there possibly be a break in period where the shaking steering wheel will go away once the pads have bedded? Any thoughts apprieciated

Which pads did you install? I have the Axxis metal masters. You didn't have to grind any tab off?
