Axle removal process

What is the difficulty level (1=easiest, 5=hardest) in changing out a halfshaft (axle)? I've tried to do a search, but couldn't find any instructions on removing one. Thanks!

on a 1-5 scale 3

drivers side: remove the half shaft nut (the hardest part) then remove teh lower ball joint using a seperator fork. remove from spindle. then get something behind (againts tranny) and pop it out of the tranny (dont pull to hard or you will seperate them internally)

passenger side simillar to driverside but the passenger side has a intermediate shaft and bearing attached to it to make it a equil length half shaft

Thanks Kris. Your instuctions are very straight forward! I guess looking at your picture it is safe to assume that you've had the passenger side replaced. Did you use a torque wrench to loosen the axle nut? What size socket is rq'd?
