you should not need an alignment after an axle change.

somthing is wrong, what bracket did you not re use?

post a pic.

who did the work?
is everything tight, and installed properly?

was the dampener on the axle still intact when you installed it?

was it a brand new axle or a used one?

we need more info.

first thing, check the wheel to see if the weight is still on there.

always look for the easiest/stupidest thing first.

who did the work? take it back to them and tell them to make it right.

dont have anyone who wasnt involved in the work look at it, or touch it. it could ruin all your chances of getting it fixed for free by the guy who did the work.

he could say "someone else was messing around in here, its not my problem" or something like that

Could be a bad axle that you put in. Another member just had axles replaced and had vibrations right after about that speed. Put in new axles and it went away. I agree though to go over all bolts and make sure every thing is tight first.

The hard downshift from 5th to 4th could possibly be bad engine mounts. If you are getting a vibration after the axle change then it could be possible that the axles are binding up since your car is lowered.

as far as your vibration is concerned, i'm still leaning towarda the axles. Bad mounts would cause a clunk when starting from a stop or possibly when downshifting.

Agreed. A lot of cheap axles can cause this problem right out of the box. Not all of the worldpac stuff is good.
