Angry Be aware of Dashboards not aligned correctly!!!!

I took my car to the dealer reporting a clicking noise somewhere close to my dashboard and steering wheel...
the service department later told me..the dashboard wasn't done right..and they aligned it..and snap it back in place.. it got rid of the major noise..but still making a tiny squeeky noise...bummer..
i'm going back for more fixes...

just to let u all know if u encounter a noise from somewhere around there...

I have a creaking noise (literally, sounds like wood creaking), and I've traced it to the AC. When the AC is on Full Auto, there must be a vent behind the middle of the dash that opens or closes - every time it does, I hear the creak.)

Misalighned Dashboards? Uneven tail pipes? What is going on here? These are minor problems that can drive people crazy just trying to fix them!

Unhappy

Sorry to hear all these problems. I think Honda / Acura should do a better job on QA...but would that drive the price up?

SO you'd rather have a cheapy built car but it's an "ACURA" than a quailty built car but it's a Honda?

U get what u pay for

Better quality work seldom increases prices in the big picture. Remember, Acura is paying labor when you bring your car in for warranty work. You're already paying for the low quality in the car! The more quality you produce, the less people bring their cars in for warranty work, and the happier your customers will be.
