Please don't flame me, I'm new to the acura world. I am one of the people who regrets not getting the navi in my 2000 tl. I saw the avic d1 on pioneers site and it looks like it would fit perfectly in my dash.

My problem is that not only can i not find the darn thing to see it in person, everyplace i go tells me that it won't fit in my car???

Has anyone installed this unit in their tl, or inquired about it??

I know you can get them kinda cheap online for around $1300 or so but i just want to be sure that i won't get raped by some installer who tells me that it will be a bunch of custom work or something.
