I have had the TLS for about 2 weeks now and was wondering what is the average MPG you guys are getting on this car? About how many miles are you also getting on the trip meter on a fuel tank of gas? I see this car spending more gas then my previous car, Boxster and the best part about it is that I drive the TLS nice and smooth, not flooring it in any way. any info appreciated.

I'm averaging around 25mph. What I noticed is that the first few tanks were awesome.. but probably b/c I was babying it during break-in. Then it went down to around 23... but now I'm up around 25mph.. and i've been there for a while.... On some recent road trips I was over 30mpg. One thing to keep in mind though is that my driving is around 75% highway.

The mileage will improve after break-in... and also after the first oil change. I usually get between 300 and 330 miles before I need a fill-up, but I don't let it get to "E"... I usually do it a couple of lines before.

You're getting 25? Man, I'm running 91 octane, not pushing the car that hard... and I'm only getting somewhere around 16...but I have to admit that that's mostly driving on the streets. But even when I'm traveling on the highway, I have a hard time breaking 20 mpg.

 

Yes... I'm averaging around 25. The last tank was about 24.5... but generally the average is 25... and I drive hard from time to time. I switched to synthetic oil at 4000 miles... so maybe that has something to do with it? I also use Sunoco 93 octane only. So far, so good....

 

i get 22-24 for my TL-P

 

mine was 22.5 - 23.5. no significance difference after aem cai installed & switched to mobil 1 5-30w syn oil.

 

Just had my 1st fill-up and got 22.9 MPG combo Hwy/City. Have not been over 4k RPM and have not been over 70MPH.
