HI guys,

I was wondering if the following is normal...
Everytime I hit the Auto button to heat or cool my car, the Face vents never blow air unless i manually override the settings. I do realise the computer montiors the temp and does accordingly, but for some reason the Face vents are never on in Auto mode.

Please advise!!!

First thing is check the obvious. Are the manual doors on the vents open?

During the winter only the floor vents should turn on for heat until the cabin is upto temp. Then I believe it switches to floor/dash mode. But, by the time it switches the fan is on low speed.

Definitly in the summer the dash vents should be blowing at full speed while it fights the summer sun.

winter they either go to the side dash or floor when auto

u have to use manual to override it
